At one point in time, TMX ran out of cases due to a problem with the tooling, so it was decided to use the case of the Timex Sinclair 1500 for a brief periode. Possibly they had these already in stock for the Argentine Czerweny CZ 2000 export model.
That made the computer appear very similar to the unreleased American Timex Sinclair 2000, seen here as it appeared in Creative Computing of April 1983.
