This 11th official Sinclair Interface 2 cartridge was supplied to authorised Sinclair repair centres to test faulty ZX Spectrums and as such it’s quite rare. The ROM was written by Dr. Ian Logan, who previously wrote the ROM code for Interface 1 and also the book “The Complete Spectrum ROM Disassembly”.
Unlike standard retail cartridges, which feature a red rubber skirt for connector protection, this cartridge is made of two injection-molded plastic parts glued together.
