The French ZX81 box included some extras that were not found in the British box. It came with a Filesixty add-on keyboard and 2 software cassettes, all in a tidy cardbox box with a plastic carrying handle. For some reason the TV output is reversed: white characters on a white background.
On a regular Western European/North and East African/Asian/Australian TV (using CCIR ITU System G) the image is inversed because only in France, the TV system used was System L which had a positive vision modulation instead of System G’s negative modulation.
