Running on an Allwinner H3 System-on-a-Chip, features a Quad-Core Cortex-A7 ARM CPU and a Mali400 MP2 GPU, this Linux computer runs a customised Spectrum emulator, supporting both 48K and 128K machines.
A BASIC ROM was not licensed from Nine Tiles or Sinclair, so an alternative was found in TokenSE, a tokenized version of OpenSE (an Open Source, improved untokenized firmware version of Sinclair BASIC, originally written for the Chloe 280SE—an intended Timex Sinclair 2068 and ZX Spectrum SE successor which failed to take off) by Andrew Owen, who also happened to have written ULAplus™ which is supported by this computer as well as the ZX Spectrum Next and some other clones, emulators and peripherals.
