The European version of the American 2068. The machine came bundled with a ZX Spectrum emulator cartridge for improved software compatibility.

After Timex Computer Corp. of America withdrew from the computer market, TMX Portugal continued support of the machine. At first glance, this machine is identical to the North American, but upon closer inspection the following changes were made:
- The edge connector was made Spectrum compatible (no need for a Twister board)
- Used resistors instead of bus buffers
- The cartridge bay opening is slightly higher (the Spectrum Emulator cartridge does not fit the American 2068)
- TV RF output is PAL instead of NTSC
- It runs on 9 volt instead of 15 volt
- Built in Portugal instead of Korea
- It’s called the Timex Computer 2068 instead of Timex Sinclair 2068
