Infinite 6 m of 1.9 mm tape loop cartridge that would allow up to 85 Kb per Microdrive cartridge. A typical 48 Kb program would load in 9 seconds at 15 Kb/s. Cartridges that are formatted for a ZX Spectrum are not compatible with the Sinclair QL and vice versa.
The felt pad that pushes the tape against the read head inside the ZX Microdrive will integrate after a few decades and will need to be replaced with a new one before use.
