Runs on the Fuse emulator, shipped with 18 games. 1000 games were promised, but all but one developer withdrew support from the project after month after month of delays. Over 4000 units were pledged for, about 100-400 were shipped after 2 years.

A Facebook campagne was started when left-over stock was found and about to be thrown away at SMS Electronics, and 123 more Vega+’es were assembled and sold at cost by the person who secured the left-over parts. Some machines booted, others did not. Most notably was that the cursor keys were almost not responsive at all.
An additional Kickstarter campagne was responsible for a nice storage box as the original Vega+ came unprotected in an “ethical packaging” plain black paper box.
